Pignuts, fiddles & burdock

It's spring and for those who are looking for wild ingredients with exceptional taste and texture at this time of the year I have chosen to create a day devoted to exploring and celebrating 3 of my favourite wild foods; pignuts, hogweed fiddles and burdock.
The format for the day is a simple one. We will walk and forage through some beautiful open spaces, and later in the day we will prepare some light bites to eat. By the end of the day you will know how to identify these choice plants correctly and how to avoid look-alikes. You will know how they taste and how to prepare them, and also have learned something of their history.
This course is ideal for the chef, forager or survival enthusiast alike and gift vouchers are available if you would like to purchase a place as a present for someone special.
